Album Release
Jeff Janis — Submerged in the River Rust
It’s been a long road.
This album was finished in 2013. It is now released in 2020.
Produced, recorded and mixed by Matthew Emerson Brown. Deep thanks for his work, and to everyone who contributed to this record.
I have always been very proud this music.
I am relieved to finally share this with the world.
I’m usually very private when it comes to social media. I’m making an exception.
This album was delayed for these reasons (in no particular order):
Fear, Doubt, debt, vocal damage, delusion, madness, Mania, alcoholism, jobs, desperation, Depression, grief, trauma, disappointment, disillusionment, loss, and a {false} but sincere ‘retirement’ from public music making.
Darkness.
Now…
INTO/TOWARDS:
Light, Love, Marriage, realignment of priorities, Love, Fatherhood, Love, dream job, forever home, sobriety (20 months now), medicine, therapy, recovery, peace, Love, faith, humility, gratitude, LOVE.
and music.
Thank you for listening.
